24 Nov Bagpipes & Wedding Bells
Scottish sublime was the theme, picture perfect was the couple, and simply sensational was the Cheshire setting. With bagpipe music in the air, The Bowdon Rooms were proud to host Anya & Jonathan’s momentous day.
And it really was smiles all round!
…apart from here:
As a versatile wedding venue, The Bowdon Rooms can be themed to suit your every requirement – from music to table dressing; canapés to photographers, our Wedding Planning Service can create the magic. Anya and Jonathan had just the traditional theme in mind when they came to us, so we offered our support and advice whenever they needed it. And we loved having our Edwardian premises filled with this gorgeous Celtic ambiance.
Both of our reception rooms are available for weddings. However, if your party is more than 90, we recommend that you accommodate your guests in the main Ballroom. This way, you can be surrounded by all your loved ones – celebrating till the wee hours.
Plum was the bride’s chosen colour theme, and it was utterly stunning. Anya’s beautiful bouquet was of white calla lilies and purple variegated orchids, while the bridesmaids clutched posies of white roses – simply lovely.
…and, naturally, the Ballroom was perfectly in-keeping with our bride and groom’s theme…
Our experienced wedding specialists are always on-hand, to ensure that everything comes together – down to the very last detail…
With The Bowdon Rooms building dating back to 1903, its period charm never fails to offer a myriad of photo opportunities – so the bride and groom made the most of it:
If a good boogie is your way to end a great evening, look no further than our ballroom with its sprung maple-wood floor (..although line dancing is optional!).
And just as much fun was had outdoors…
..as it was indoors!
Congratulations to our fabulous couple, Anya & Jonathan – a smashing time was had by all!
